Day 1: Arrive Bangkok
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok.
Day 2: Bangkok City Tour (B/L/D)
Take in this bustling city with a full day tour taking in the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Lunch and dinner provided at local restaurants. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3: Bangkok - Chiang Mai (B/L/D)
Fly to Chiang Mai today and take in the stunning view over the city on top of the Doi Suthep Mountain. In the evening enjoy a traditional dance ceremony and ‘Kantoke’ Dinner. Overnight at hotel in Chiang Mai.
Day 4: Chiang Mai (B/L)
Visit the amazing Elephant Camp at Mae Sa, followed by a discovery and education in the traditional handicrafts industry in the afternoon. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 5: Chiang Mai (B/L)
Take a Samlor or trishaw tour of the old city, including the colorful flower market. Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a well deserved rest in the afternoon. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 6: Chiang Mai - Golden Triangle (B/L)
Early morning drive to visit the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Laos, Myanmar and Thailand meet at the Mekong and Ruak Rivers. Following lunch visit the old town of Chiang Sean, rich in Lanna architecture. One night at Imperial Golden Triangle Resort.
Day 7: Golden Triangle - Pakbeng (B/L/D)
Transfer to the Lao border for a highlight of the trip; a cruise down the mighty Mekong River aboard our comfortable private boat. Lao style food served on board. One night at Pakbeng Lodge.
Day 8: Pakbeng - Luang Prabang (B/L)
Continue your epic journey down the Mekong to the UNESCO Heritage city of Luang Prabang via Pak Ou Caves, containing thousands of Buddha statues. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 9: Luang Prabang (B/L)
Enjoy a morning city tour seeing the beautiful wats, and the National Museum. Late morning participate in a unique local experience, a ‘Baci’ ceremony at a local village. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 10: Luang Prabang (B/L)
Rise early to witness the age old tradition of morning alms giving to the monks. Visit the local market, followed by a trip out to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 11: Luang Prabang - Vang Vieng (B/L)
On the road today taking a spectacular mountain drives through breathtaking scenery to the riverside town of Vang Vieng. Surrounded by limestone karsts scenery, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunset drink. Overnight in Vang Vieng.
Day 12: Vang Vieng - Vientiane (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Free until tranfer to Vientiane. Upon arrival, check into hotel. Free at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.
Day 13: Vientiane City Tour (B/L)
Enjoy a city tour of this charming capital, including Patuxai, based on the ‘Arc De Triomphe’ in Paris. A farewell dinner and music show is arranged for you at Khua Lao Restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.
Day 14: Vientiane (B/L)
Today, we visit these sights before catching a flight back to Vientiane. After checking into hotel, we transfer out to see the Buddha Park, a blend of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures created by mystical monk on parkland located by the Mekong River and the impressive Friendship Bridge. A view of the spectacular sunset over the Mekong River is the perfect way to finish the day. Overnight in Vientiane. End of tour.
