Hoa Lu was the first capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, see the Golden Age of Dai Co Viet area and the earliest name of the country. Near Hoa Lu is Bich Dong grotto, known as the second most picturesque one in Vietnam, especially, when sightseeing by small boat along the small river. Go through the wonderful tunnels and caves and see many pagodas located along the way.

 

 

AM: 7h30 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh), enjoying the rural scenery along the road. Visit Hoa Lu old citadel. In the afternoon, take a rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (Three Grottoes). 17: 00 Back to Hanoi.
